Sunday, October 8, 2006 the Church of Christ in Wickliffe, KY (Highway 286 across from Town and Country Supermarket) will host a Fort Jefferson presentation by Professor Kenneth Carsten, Murray State University.  Professor Carsten will be prepared for question and answer session as well.  He is a respected expert on the subject of Fort Jefferson.  Refreshments will be served.  The Ballard-Carlisle Historical and Genealogical Society members will also be present at this meeting in lieu of their monthly meeting at the library in Wickliffe.  Hosted by Ray Hart, direct descendent of Captain Pigott-Fort Jefferson adn the Ballard-Carlisle Historical & Genealogical Society.  For more information please call 270-335-3128.
